We share our world with billions of other people. For our communities to be successful, we need to know how to work and live together. A big part of this is being considerate of the people around us.
Being considerate means showing you care about other people's feelings. It is important to make sure that what you are doing respects others around you. Some examples of showing consideration towards other include:
Showing consideration is especially important during difficult times like the ones we are living in right now. We are being asked to be considerate of others in different ways, such as making sure that we wash our hands so that we don't spread any illnesses to other people and being asked to only buy the things we need so that there is enough for everyone. With families having to stay home for such a long period of time, we may also be asked to be considerate by sharing things at home (like the TV, for example) and by being patient and understanding when someone is having a hard time adjusting.
We can help our world by being considerate of others. Ask yourself, "How is this person feeling? How would I feel if I was in their shoes? How can I show this person that I care about their feelings?"
